May 12, 2014

Ramallah: Eng. Khaled Al Sabawi, the General Manager of UCI and Co-founder of TABO project, announced the completion of further projects for paving internal roads in TABO project in Qarawa Bani Zeid in Ramallah (E master plan). This completion comes after the company completed paving internal roads in the previous Haykali master plans for the same area (A and B master plans).

The completion of these projects is part of UCI’s strategic plan that aims at providing the TABO lands with infrastructure services. It’s worth mentioning here that UCI has recently signed several agreements with local contracting companies, where it is agreed to pave internal roads of all TABO Haykali master plans in Qarawa Bani Zaid in addition to the other areas in the project.

Mr. Al Sabawi explained that so far, the implemented projects for paving internal roads are at the core of the strategic and development plan that aims at developing the TABO lands. This is evident in the construction of connected internal roads networks that promote demographic and geographic connection and at the same time serve the TABO lands located outside the main cities, as well as contribute to embodying the foundations of an independent Palestinian state. The construction of internal roads networks is one of the most important factors that must be afforded to achieve development.

UCI also paved internal roads in Kobar in Ramallah (B master plan) and in Farkha in Salfeet (Q master plan). In this regard, Mr. Al Sabawi indicated that UCI’s strategic plan is not limited to the construction of internal roads network, but it will also include the construction of electricity networks and provision of water tanks in the near future. This is beside the construction processes represented in the 3 model villas in different parts of the TABO project, which comes in conjunction with the company"s continuous efforts to register these lands in order to stabilize its ownership and protect ithem from the settlement expansion.

Mr. Al Sabawi emphasized that UCI is proceeding to implement its development projects on the TABO lands according to a studied development and strategic plan so as to ensure fulfilling its obligations and liabilities towards its clients and towards Palestine.
